www.cilab.upf.edu</a>) is<br>searching for scientific programmers to join the development team. The<br>development team works on challenging medical image processing projects with<br>National and European scope, involving enterprises, hospitals and
<br>universities. The functionalities we are developing include:<br><br>* Visual interaction with medical data (images, surfaces, etc.).<br>* Advanced biomedical data processing (involving image processing,<br>mathematical models and numerical methods, data visualization, etc.).
<br>* Distributed computation<br><br>Place:<br> CILab - UPF (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Barcelona , Spain<br><br>Work hours:<br>Complete (8h)<br><br>Requisites:<br><br>The candidate should have:<br><br>* Graduation in Software engineering or equivalent (undergraduate only if
<br>within four months of the end of the course).<br>* Advanced skills in C++ and Object Oriented Programming.<br>* Knowledge of computer graphics.<br>* Fluently spoken English (as is the standard language in the lab).<br>
* An interest in continuously improving his/her programming skills as well<br>as the overall level of the team.<br><br>The following items would also be valued:<br>* Experience with VTK, ITK.<br>* Experience with version control environments (cvs, svn).
<br>* Knowledge of development environments in Linux and/or Windows.<br>* Experience in medical image processing, numerical methods and/or<br>computational modelling.<br>* High performance computing and parallel processing.
