I want to know how the curvature speed term
is defined in the level set algorithm. Gaussian or mean curvature?

When use the level set algorithm in SNAP to
segment the medical image, the input image is mapped to the feature image with
values between [0,1] or [-1,+1].The feature image is used to define the
propagation speed term.I think the curvature speed term should be computed at
each pixel. Is it computed using the feature image? Does the
isoContour with the value at the pixel need be created to compute the
curvature?

Any information about this will be
appreciated.
