[Insight-users] How to get Jacobian determinant of BSpline transform about input point coordinates?

I think that currently the only way to get this information is to
compute the deformation field and then use
http://www.itk.org/Doxygen/html/classitk_1_1DeformationFieldJacobianDeterminantFilter.html

I filed a feature request at http://www.itk.org/Bug/view.php?id=8786 for
this a while ago but not much has happened since then.
