[Insight-users] Affine vs versorrigid3dtransform

Hello,
 I'm new to ITK and need to register some 3D brains together. Could
anyone tell me what the difference between the Affine transform and the
VersorRigid3DTransform is? My impression is that they both perform rigid
body registration with 3 translations and 3 rotations. Is this the case?
Also, what are the advantages of using the VersorRidid3DTransorm?
