Hi Maria,

Isotropic pixel are the pixels of an image for which the pixel
spacing is the same in every direction.

Anisotropic pixels are the ones from images where the spacing
is different in every direction.

Unfortunately, most of the time you will be dealing
with anisotropic pixels.
