[Insight-users] Help with conjugate gradient optimizer

I tried to plugin the observer like regular step gradient descent optimizer, 
but it was never called for the internal iterations. Is this a bug or a 
restraint for this algorithm?
 I was also trying to trace the code, and there is a provision of 
preconditioning in which {vnl_conjugate_gradient::preconditioner_} function 
is called. probably my guess is the observer can be linked in here.
 any help / guidelines will be highly appreciated.
