Thanks for your suggestion.
I have updated my code according to ur suggestion.
I used itkGradientMagnitudeRecursiveGaussianFilter and built it in =
release mode .It was taking 30=20
min before and after applying the filter, it is taking 15 sec now. =
Output is satisfactory.
