The complete CableSwig-based Python and Tcl wrappings are available from 1.4
onwards.  1.4 is not released quite yet, so you can make use of CVS.  In the
CVS version (or later 1.4) you'll find the appropriate README in
Wrapping/CSwig.

Many of the ITK classes and their methods have been wrapped.  To see how you
would go about making use of these in Python, you could have a look at some
of the examples.  I believe Examples/Registration/ImageRegistration3.py will
be of particular interest to you.
