[Insight-developers] ITK 3.12 : Dashboard State : Remaining Issues.

Here is a summary of the remaining issues in the Dashboard today.
(as of 9:25am EST...)

The only issue that seems to be worth addressing today is
item (16): compilation errors of Insight Applications in
Visual Studio 6.0.


The next two most significant issues are

   Item 16: FreeBSD        9 failing tests
   Item 17: Opensolaris   18 failing tests

Items 4 and 6 are related to the new functionality of streaming.
They are both single tests that currently fail in a single platform.
They will require some investigation.

I would suggest to address item (16), and then to tag the release,
given that it is unlikely that we will manage to track and solve
items 16 and 17 today.


Does anyone see any major issues from the rest of the list  ?

   We could simply relax the tolerance of the regression tests..
   Any objections ?

    ?? unknown reason...

    1 Warning

    itkImageIORegion.cxx   : unused variable

    This looks like a bogus warning from Borland,
    since the variable "same" is actually used in the code.

    itkImageFileWriterStreamingPastingCompressingTest_VTK

    ... unclear reason...

    this is the only machine where this test is failing.

    (real) Numeric errors...

    This test fails in 6 different platforms.

     This looks innocuous.

     It also has warnings about the unsafety of 'strcpy'

      Set of warnings about unsafety of 'getenv'


13) Applications buid on zion.kitware
     gcc 4.1

     Warnings about float to in convertions in
     InsightApplications/Auxiliary/FltkImageViewer/GLSliceView.h

     zApps-Linux-gcc42

     CMake configuration warnings about mixing different compilers
     for ITK and VTK.

     7 Compilation errors:
     InsightApplications\ConvertBetweenFileFormats\castconverthelpers.h

     It looks like the nesting of many template instantiations gives
     trouble to VS6.

     ** This is probably the most outstanding
        issue in the Dashbard today.

     FreeBSD-fresh-gcc-3.4

     9 Test failing

     3 from BSplineDeformable registration
     3 from SignedMaurerDistance map
     2 from interpolators
     1 from VNL rounding

    Guess... BSplines and SignedMaurer errors *may* be
             related to the VNL rounding issue...


17) pixel2.jouy.inra.fr
     opensolaris-gcc3.4 ctest2.4-patch 8

     Many warnings from Tcl wrapping...
