[Insight-developers] Nonportable Code

Hey Gaëtan,

I am not sure if it's really portable since I have only tried it on a
single computer, but there is already an attempt in vxl to define a
portable 64 bit integer:

  vxl_int_64

It might be worth giving it a try.
