The proposal makes sense to me. I have some questions based on my never
really looking at the internals of the registration framework:

1. Currently when we use registration, we re-orient images to be in the same
gross orientation*, then register them. The resulting deformation field or
transform only makes sense, therefore, when applied to an image in that same
canonical orientation. This is done with regular itk::Image volumes.

This proposal doesn't affect this method of performing registration does it?

2. If registration is done on itk::OrientedImages, what will be the assumed
reference frame of the transform/deformation field be? In other words, will
the transform be from physical point to physical point, from voxel point to
voxel point, or...
