What errors did you get?    I just tried :
1. run cmake 1.4.7 on Insight
2. run cmake 1.6.0 with the same binary
3. build Insight, there were no problems.


I did not use VTK in the build.    Did you re-run cmake 1.6 on the VTK that
ITK was using before running the new cmake on the itk binary directory.
