Try mine.

Go into Insight/Examples/Filtering
make sure your build is up to date.

touch DiscreteGaussianImageFilter.cxx

try another build. FilteringExamples should rebuild, but does not on my
system.

I do not think that I have done anything special.
Did you try my test case?
