Hi Fucang,

From our evaluation (done about 1.5 years ago) both Aurora and MedSafe
had no perceived latency issues. As to refresh rate, the MedSafe refresh
rate was 160Hz and did not depend on the number of tools used. For the
Aurora the refresh rate was 40Hz when using one tool and dropped to
20-25Hz when using multiple tools. This was still good enough for most
of our applications. Also, NDI has informed us that this issue has since
been resolved and that the refresh rate is 40Hz even when all tools are
connected (we haven't tested this). For all the details please see the
paper:

"Electromagnetic Tracking in the Clinical Environment", Z. Yaniv, E.
Wilson, D. Lindisch, K. Cleary, Med. Phys., Vol. 36(3), pp. 876-892, 2009.

                      regards
                          Ziv
