Among other bugfixes, this release contains updates to third-party packages that include important security fixes, so it is recommended that anyone who administers a public-facing Girder installation upgrade to the new version. Those using a pip installed package can run the following command to perform the upgrade: pip install -U Pillow girder && girder-install web Note that the Pillow package upgrade is only important if you already have Pillow installed, and can be left off if not.
