Ah ok, I understand.
I do the nightly build on a fresh checkout, so there is nothing to update.
Ok, I could try to do it differently.
Does ctest do a "make clean" before starting the build ?
So the right way to set this up is to checkout the modules once and then have them updated nightly be cmake/ctest, right ?
