It isn't. Where did you get that idea from !? Brandon, you have a<BR>
tendency to email FUD that is amazing... even when you provide links to<BR>
text that clearly states exactly the opposite of what you say.<BR>

Ruby is distributed under a dual LGPL / Ruby License. The Ruby License<BR>
is a MIT-like license.<BR>
Some portions of ruby are not under that license (as they were not<BR>
written by the author), but are either BSD (meaning you need to give<BR>
proper credit) or public domain.<BR>
<BR>
For proper info, refer to "LEGAL" in the ruby distribution.<BR>
