[CMake] Where are object files located, and how do I change the default extension?

No i do not have a toolchain file, but you are right, perhaps I need one...

I am compiling with the DIAB compiler from Windriver and my target system is
a power PC from Freescale, MPC5566. I have used the
CMakeForceCompiler-module to change compiler from gcc to DIAB...
