Thanks Alex. The slides look pretty good. It may be a good start, but
I'm looking for something more like an hour-long seminar, maybe even a
bit more. I think that expanding what you have and incorporating a
step by step example so that the audience has more of a hands-on
experience (they would be in a room with computer terminals) would
make it more interesting.

Of course, as I hinted in my other e-mail, I'm also worried about
people not seeing the value of it just because they don't know that
there are other things than Java. So, I would like to have some value
added for Java as well. If not, I'll just make the case for C/C++ and
if you're using C/C++ then cmake is THE option.
