I just spoke to a friend of mine who's a "Master Of The Universe" (MOTU)
for Ubuntu (cmake is in their "universe" repository). He reports that as soon
as their archive team finishes fixing their build queue that 2.4.2
will be automatically
synced from Debian Sid (unstable) and will make it into the next version of
Ubuntu (Edgy, which should be out in 4 months, iirc). So, that will take care
of Ubuntu.
