Summary:                    CMake 3.0.1 shows Segmentation Fault after
installation under Cygwin64 on Windows7
Description: 
The CMake 3.0.1 source was downloaded (cmake-3.0.1.tar.gz with LF line endings),
compiled and installed following the instructions on the CMake web site.
Everything worked normally as the attached log file shows. When CMake was
subsequently run to show the version number using cmake -version, a segmentation
fault occurred (see log file).

Steps to Reproduce: 
1, Delete all previous remnants of cygwin from system
2. Download and run http://cygwin.com/setup-x86_64.exe to install 64-bit cygwin
3. When asked, selected the option to install everything
4. From cygwin terminal window run "cmake -version" to confirm version is 2.8
5. Download and decompress cmake-3.0.1.tar.gz (version with LF line endings)
6. Run "tar -xzvf cmake-3.0.1.tar.gz" to decompress and extract cmake
7. Change to cmake-3.0.1 directory created by previous step.
8. Run "./configure"
9. Run "make"
10. Run "make install"
11. Reboot system
12. Run "cmake -version" from a cywgin terminal window
13. The segmentation fault will occur

Additional Information: 
The system is running Windows X64 Ultimate. Since a 64-bit version of cygwin was
needed, the 32-bit version of cygwin that was originally installed on this
system was removed. All remnants of cygwin were deleted from the system
including the directories and desktop icons and start-menu entries. A new 64-bit
was installed successfully without any failures. Every application in the cygwin
package was installed. After cygwin64 was installed, cmake was run to show the
version of cmake that came with the cygwin installer. It ran successfully and
showed something like 2.8.11.
