[Cdash] No builds shown in CDash project page‏‏

The CDash build dashboard at my company has stopped showing any builds in the project page, http://<my-url>/CDash/index.php?project=<project_name>.

We run nightly builds for 7 applications, and initially the dashboard was showing builds for the 3 oldest apps, but not for the 4 apps that have been added more recently.

In the interest of brevity, I will only describe my last attempt to fix this problem, which has unfortunately made it worse.

After noticing that there were no entries in the buildgroup table of the database for the 4 apps with no builds showing, I had made a guess that the problem might be related to this bug:

0007639: Build group description required by MySQL but not set by PHP build group commands (http://www.itk.org/Bug/view.php?id=7639).

Since I was running CDash 1.0.2, and this bug was fixed in CDash 1.2, I upgraded to version 1.2.1 (the only 1.2 release available from http://public.kitware.com/Wiki/CDash:Installation#Previous_versions_of_CDash). I followed the procedure documented at http://public.kitware.com/Wiki/CDash:Upgrade. After this did not solve the problem, I noticed that the list of bugs fixed in CDash 1.4 included this: 0007861 Upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.2.1 breaks Groups. So I then upgraded from 1.2.1 to 1.4.1. That did not fix the problem either, and it caused several of the CDash web pages to show SQL or PHP warnings and errrors. So I then reverted to my CDash 1.0.2 files and restored the database which I had backed up before upgrading to 1.2.1.

To my dismay, even the 3 projects that used to work properly now show no builds. They do however display the text "No Nightly Builds", "No Continuous Builds" and "No Experimental Builds", which the 4 newer projects do not. Both the newer and older projects display the text "No Coverage" and "No Dynamic Analysis".

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am running CDash 1.0.2 with PHP 5.2.6 on Windows Server 2008 Standard SP2 (32-bit), using Apache 2.2.14 and MySQL 14.12.

Thanks,

Bob B.

P.S I've posted this message to the list previously, but it doesn't appear to have reached the list, since it is not in the archives, even though messages posted later by others are there. So I'm posting it again. My apologies if it turns out to be a duplicate posting.
