Myocardium tractography for further understanding of its architecture
Diffusion Tensor Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the heart enables the possibility of computing detailed reconstructions of its fibrillar structure. Many researchers have worked on this subject on the last 10 years, but this has not helped to achieve a universal agreement of heart's architecture yet. This caption represents our current research on this area where we want to contribute with newer visualization techniques whose would help to the description of this complex and intriguing biological construction. Techniques presented on this image represent some of our early work on a simplified model of the heart structure and also on tract coloring to improve visualitzation.

Role of Open Source:
Visualitzation ToolKit is the key of this project.
