| Summary | 0000747: Axes can make ICE-T slow | ||||||||||||
| Description | Right now when running parallel, ParaView places an actor to draw axes on the root rendering node. However, when ICE-T is rendering in tile display mode, it relies heavily on a good spatial decomposition of the geometry. Even when the geometry is spatially decomposed, the axes may extend well outside the region held in the root rendering node. Thus, the root rendering node may be forced to render many extra tiles causing a significant slowdown. | ||||||||||||
