Summary0013622: Separate extract step in ExternalProject
DescriptionCurrently the extract step is bundled in with the download step for urls. I would like the ability to call the extract command, or get the extract script file called independently of the url download.
Steps To ReproduceTry extracting a compressed archive that is not specified by URL in the download step.

+1. I'd say the same for the verify step too, though "file(DOWNLOAD ...)" kind of has it built-in--except for the issue noted in 0014330.
